On Monday 20 June the British Council in collaboration with Film Europe media company will be screening Justin Kurzel’s film adaptation of Macbeth. Shakespeare’s classic drama has returned to the screen in a new version that links up to the wave of British adaptations of the Bard’s plays and stars Michael Fassbender in the title role and Marion Cotillard as his wife.
The screening will take place in Kino Hviezda in Trnava from 19:00 and the entrance price is € 3. The film will be screened with Czech subtitles.
The event is part of the British Council’s Shakespeare Lives 2016 programme, celebrating Shakespeare‘s life on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of his death.
